Chocolate and hazelnut doughnuts

These decadent doughnuts are gluten free, refined sugar free and easy to make. What's not to like!

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius and grease doughnut moulds
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients ensuring there are no lumps (depending on your cocoa powder, you may need to sift it into the mixture)
  3. Add in the wet ingredients, mixing until it forms a thick consistency
  4. Add the mixture to the doughnut moulds only about 75% of the way to allow for rising of the mixture
  5. Bake for 15-20 mins or until baked all the way through
  6. While the doughnuts are cooling, melt together the chocolate and coconut oil
  7. Once the doughnuts have cooled (approx. 10 minutes), dip them in the chocolate and add the hazelnuts on top
  8. Set for a further 5 minutes and enjoy!
